Hi, I’m Lana — and I see you.
I moved to the Netherlands with a suitcase full of dreams, a head full of ideas, and a heart full of fear. I didn’t know where to begin. Everything felt unfamiliar—new language, new systems, new version of myself. Starting over in a foreign country shook me. It tested my confidence, my identity, and the belief that I could still build something meaningful far from home.
My Story
When I was 21, I moved to the Netherlands with just one suitcase and a heart full of dreams, Ididn’t know the language and I didn’t have a plan.
But I had this fire inside me and I followed it. Soon after, I co-founded a tattoo studio with my partner... Within a few years, it became one of the most well-known shops in Amsterdam. I lived in a luxury apartment in the center, our business was thriving, and from the outside, it looked like I had it all... But then everything changed.
We broke up, I sold my part of the business and I had to do the one thing I never thought I’d do again: start over.So I built Lana Skyn, from scratch. My own clinic, my own rules, my own voice and again, I created success. But this time, it wasn’t just about the business, it was about rebuilding me. I changed... My mindset changed, my standards changed.
I turned 30 this year, and I’ve never felt more certain: this is my calling. I know how it feels to be lost in a new country, to want more, but have no idea where to begin. And I also know the exact steps it takes to move from stuck to thriving. I’ve made the mistakes, I’ve learned the lessons and I've collected the tools.
And now I’m here to share it all: the mindset shifts, the business tips, the tricks no one teaches you.
